TERMS & CONDITIONS

DELIVERY INFORMATION

Maria Palaria ships from Bucharest, Romania. All domestic orders and shipments will be processed and shipped via DPD courier in Romania and DHL Internationally within 3-5 business days, pending payment authorization and verification.  This is subject to credit clearance and availability of stock. If a particular product is not in stock we can make it exclusively for you. Please contact us on hello@mariapalaria.com for more information. Maria Palaria delivers worldwide.

Please allow us 24 hours to send you your tracking number & shipping label after placing an order.

The shipping cost for international destinations may vary upon shipping country and number of items ordered.  As soon as your order has been shipped you will receive a dispatch confirmation from us, together with details on how to track your order. Please note that these services might not be available during the festive and pre-festive days. Also note that the estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only, and Maria Palaria is not responsible for delays in shipping or delivery due to force of nature or other uncontrollable events.

A signature is required for any goods delivered, at which point responsibility for your purchased goods is passed to you.

Maria Palaria is not responsible for lost and/or stolen packages. Any items that are not signed for with direct signature will be shipped back to Maria Palaria. All fees to ship the package back to customer will be covered by the customer. Once your item has been shipped you will receive a confirmation email with tracking info.


PRE ORDER

For items listed as pre order, please expect delivery within the delivery date window stated on the product description. For more information on your pre order, please inquire at hello@mariapalaria.com or text us at (+40) 741 014 344. 


SHOWROOM PICK UP

Orders are available for local Bucharest pick up from the Maria Palaria Showroom. Our Pick up option is only available from Monday - Friday from 10:30am - 5:00pm. Saturday and Sunday pick up is not available. Bring your confirmation email when you come to collect your order. Please call or text (+40) 741 014 344 upon arrival. Please allow 2-4 days for us to prepare your order. You will receive an email or text confirmation when your order is ready for pickup. 

Maria Palaria has the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. 

In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the email and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors.

You agree to provide current, complete and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.


RETURN POLICY

If you would like to return or exchange an item purchased on www.mariapalaria.com, please send us a request at hello@mariapalaria.com  for a return authorization within 30 days of delivery date.

We offer returns for either store credit, a refund in the original form of payment.

No refund will be taken into consideration if the return instructions are not strictly respected. In case the product has any deterioration other than the manufacturing defects (if any), mariapalaria.com has the exclusive and unilaterally right to decide a partial refund accordingly. In case of a valid return, your account will be credited within 15 days from the receiving of the returned products, or we can exchange the product after your confirmation.

Please note that the custom made hats and hats that have been pre-ordered cannot be accepted for returns as they are made especially for your and they are about your story.  

It is under your responsibility to give us the correct dimensions of the head measurements. 

-  Items must be returned in new & unused condition, with all original packaging and tags attached including our "DO NOT REMOVE" hangtag. 

-  We cannot refund or take returns on hats that has been worn or used. 

-  Initial shipping charges cannot be refunded.


INTERNATIONAL RETURNS

We do not provide shipping labels for international returns or exchanges returning back to Maria Palaria. International customers interested in a return for a refund must cover return shipping costs. Maria Palaria is not responsible for lost and/or stolen return packages. For more information on making an international return please email hello@mariapalaria.com


DEFECTIVE ITEMS

If an item is received damaged or defective, please contact customer service immediately at hello@mariapalaria.com 


PRICING POLICY

The prices are indicated in LEI including VAT.

Please note that your order may be subject to import duties and taxes over which we have no control as they are levied by your tax and customs office. As the customer and importer of the goods, you will be responsible for these charges. Import duties or tax costs will be invoiced to you directly from the appointed forwarder. We recommend you contact your local customs authority to determine a landed cost price prior to purchase completion. Maria Palaria is not responsible for any delays on goods that have been held back as a result of procedures carried out by your local customs authorities.


PRIVACY POLICY

What do we do with your information?

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address.

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

How do you get my consent?

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

How do I withdraw my consent?

To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.

If you provide us with your credit card information, the information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (Netopia).

Our store is hosted on OPEN CART. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
